Recently, the news has been all abuzz with teen activists who want to take away our guns but refuse to use clear backpacks, the Facebook privacy scandal, and how someone bit Beyonce in the face. But there are three recent events that aren’t getting much press which tell us it is entirely possible that we could be headed toward World War III at worst and toward an economic collapse at best.

During the election, it really seemed as though Hillary Clinton as president would be a much more likely path to World War III. She even gloated of the actions she planned to take that would have led directly and immediately to war. Donald Trump as president seemed less likely to get us into a war with Russia, but it appears the tides may have turned back in that direction.

#1) The Trade Tariffs

We’re already at financial war with China due to punitive trade tariffs that our governments are instituting on one another. President Trump wants to rebalance global trade in America’s favor, and China isn’t going to go down without a fight. Here’s more information on the list of tariffs the US wants to charge for Chinese merchandise and the retaliatory list from China.

The last time we were involved in a major trade war, the Great Depression happened, according to an economics expert for CNN.

America’s last trade war exacerbated the Great Depression in the 1930s, when unemployment rose to 25%. Claiming it was protecting American jobs, Congress passed the Smoot-Hawley Act in 1930. The original bill was meant to protect farmers. But to build political support, many lawmakers asked for tariffs — or taxes — on all sorts of goods in exchange for their vote.
Several nations, such as Canada, slapped steep tariffs — or taxes — on US goods shipped and sold abroad. For example, US exports of eggs to Canada fell to 7,900 in 1932 from 919,000 in 1929, according to Doug Irwin, a Dartmouth professor and former trade adviser to President Reagan.
The result: US imports fell 40% in the two years after Smoot-Hawley. Banks shuttered. Unemployment shot up. Surely, there were a litany of factors at play. But economists widely agree Smoot-Hawley made the Great Depression much worse than otherwise. (source)
And what happened at the end of the Great Depression? World War II happened, and this ended the unemployment and resulted in a spending frenzy that pumped up the economy. There’s always an increase in the GDP during wartime due to defense spending. But that is one hell of a bad way to fix the economy, don’t you think?

#2) The PetroYuan

As of Monday, March 26th, the US has lost petrodollar status. The petrodollar now has competition in the form of the petroyuan. What this means is that previously, the only way anyone in the world could buy oil was to use US dollars to do so. This kept the value of our currency high. But now, Russia and China are buying oil using the yuan. Others may soon follow because the United States has ticked off a majority of the planet in the past century.

What does this mean for Americans? Inflation. Major inflation. If our dollar is worth less on the global scale, it means that anything we import is going to cost more.  If you want the super-detailed economic explanation, this article and video will provide the in-depth info you want on the history and potential collapse of the petrodollar.

Many articles have been written about the possibility that the United States will go to war to protect the petrodollar status. This one is a good read. For a quick explanation, watch this video.

#3) Kicking Out the Russian Diplomats

We also kicked 60 Russian Diplomats out of the United States because Russia was accused of poisoning their own spy on British soil.

Trump took the action after the US joined the United Kingdom in accusing Russia of attempting earlier this month to murder a former Russian double agent and his daughter using a nerve agent in the town of Salisbury, England. The action comes just 11 days after the Trump administration leveled the first sanctions against Russia for its interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

“The United States takes this action in conjunction with our NATO allies and partners around the world in response to Russia’s use of a military-grade chemical weapon on the soil of the United Kingdom, the latest in its ongoing pattern of destabilizing activities around the world,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. (source)

Russia, the world’s favorite scapegoat recently, denies responsibility for the poisoning.

“It’s complete drivel, rubbish, nonsense that somebody in Russia would allow themselves to do such a thing ahead of elections and the World Cup,” Putin told supporters after winning a fourth term as president.

“We have destroyed all chemical weapons,” he added, rejecting Britain’s claim that only Moscow could be behind the nerve agent attack on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. (source)

As for the dozens of Russian diplomats expelled from countries around the world, Russia has promised a response.

RIA Novosti reports an unnamed foreign ministry official protested the decision by EU, NATO nations to expel envoys, and  confirmed that Russia will respond to each country expelling diplomats, warning that the “expulsions won’t go unanswered.”

“Unfriendly” action won’t be left unanswered.

U.K.’s allies are “blindly following” principle of Euro-Atlantic unity at the expense of common sense.

Additionally, Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said that, with regard to the US response, US only understand force.

“I mentioned in my statement in the State Department that I consider these actions counterproductive,” Antonov said.

“I said that the United States took a very bad step by cutting what very little still remains in terms of Russian-American relations.” (source)

Whether Russia was responsible for the poisoning of their former agent or not, this incident and the response could lead to…you guessed it…war.

President Trump Seems to be Building a War Cabinet

If Russia and China decide to team up, it’s a safe bet they won’t just be making passive aggressive comments about the US. We can look for a brutal and decisive attack. Whether the United States strikes first or gets hit first would be the only thing in question.

Whatever the case, it looks like the White House is expecting war.

There was more upheaval in Washington DC last week when President Trump replaced his National Security Advisor. Many people were shocked when Trump booted H.R. McMaster and replaced him with an avid Warhawk, John Bolton.

“I am pleased to announce that, effective 4/9/18, @AmbJohnBolton will be my new National Security Advisor. I am very thankful for the service of General H.R. McMaster who has done an outstanding job & will always remain my friend. There will be an official contact handover on 4/19.”
“The two have been discussing this for some time. The timeline was expedited as they both felt it was important to have the new team in place, instead of constant speculation,” a White House official said. “This was not related to any one moment or incident, rather it was the result of ongoing conversations between the two.” (source)
John Bolton ranks up there on my List of Really Bad Choices along with Jeff Sessions and Mike Pompeo. Bolton served as a U.N. ambassador under President George W. Bush. He has openly been a supporter of aggressive military actions for decades. With former head of the CIA Mike Pompeo, these two are bound to lead us into a bloody and brutal war with…well, just about everyone.

It is no coincidence that next in line for Donald Trump’s secretary of state position is Pompeo himself. Together, Bolton and Pompeo will be able to advise Trump on anti-North Korean and anti-Iranian platforms so hawkish there is no telling what’s to come (though we have a fairly decent idea).

As some of you may know, John Bolton’s hawkishness has already led to some of the most despicable foreign policy agendas of our generation. (source)

Just to give you an idea of Bolton’s thought processes, check out his 2015 op-ed for the New York Times, titled, “To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran” which was followed by a recent op-ed for the Wall Street Journal called, “The Legal Case For Striking North Korea First.” Learn more about the world according to John Bolton in this article, littered with horrifying quotes right from the horse’s mouth.

So, while it seemed as though we were moving forward when Kim Jong Un agreed to talks with President Trump about giving up his nukes, we’ve just moved 10 steps back with this new “war cabinet.” And that’s exactly what Pat Buchanan, advisor to three presidents and syndicated columnist has called it.

President Donald Trump seems to be creating a war cabinet.

Trump himself has pledged to walk away from the Iran nuclear deal — “the worst deal ever” — and reimpose sanctions in May.

His new national security adviser John Bolton, who wrote an op-ed titled “To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran,” has called for preemptive strikes and “regime change.”

Secretary of State-designate Mike Pompeo calls Iran “a thuggish police state,” a “despotic theocracy,” and “the vanguard of a pernicious empire that is expanding its power and influence across the Middle East.”

Trump’s favorite Arab ruler, 32-year-old Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, calls Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei “the Hitler of the Middle East.”

Bibi Netanyahu is monomaniacal on Iran, calling the nuclear deal a threat to Israel’s survival and Iran “the greatest threat to our world.”

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley echoes them all. (source)

Do you want a war? Because this is how you get a war.

Are you nervous yet?

Are we on the cusp of World War III? This has been a question I’ve asked numerous times recently for numerous reasons, but it sure seems like all the game pieces are being moved into place on the chessboard.

  • We have a cabinet staffed with warmongers.
  • We have a trade war with China.
  • We ticked off Russia more than once.
  • We’ve lost petrodollar status.

In the past, America has “resolved” its economic problems by going to war. Will this time be any different?

  • With inflation on the horizon this will be tough on us on fixed incomes hence the need to be even more self reliant. I certainly do not know what the future holds even with my years and advanced degrees in international affairs. All societies rise and fall we are a new nation and despite what some say we have much to learn. We, other than the depression in the late 20’s and 30’s have led a sheltered life despite the wars, some totally unjustified. All I can do is prepare to the best of my ability and pray that wiser minds prevail. God Bless you and all you do.

  • Ok, you have stepped over the line into the abyss. Why would you use CNN and the Huffington Post as your sources. I’m so disappointed! Why not do some real research on conservative websites about John Bolton, Iran, Hezbollah, Russia, etc., instead of going to the dark side.

Here, let me help you out:
    http://freebeacon.com/blog/whos-actually-fostering-war-with-iran-john-bolton-or-the-new-york-times
    http://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/380389-boltons-fiery-style-reduces-risk-of-war-and-promotes-the-iranian

Please do a more thorough research and skip CNN and Huff.

    • Agreed on skipping CNN and Huff. Add WaPo to that list as well and maybe even NYTimes! So many totally corrupt main stream media outlets.
The links you gave are good articles well worth considering. It pays to keep ones eyes open and have a wide range of sources for news.
Thank you for taking the time to post the links. All is not lost, yet!

    • I agree, please no more fake news channels.
With China and Russia, I think this is our response to the Petro yuan.
They took away his favorite toy and now comes the tantrum.

  • There once was a man from Mombasa .. (KENYA)
Who lived in a very fine Casa
    He thought he was King
    and Loved the Left Wing
Al Qaeda, Hamas and La Raza!

  • I agree that you should prep because we don’t know what could happen and we should always be prepared for any scenario. I just don’t agree with the viewpoint that the US is headed for war, but again, anything is possible of course. How many opportunities to start a war has there been yet… nothing. Peace talks with North Korea? I can understand how it kinda looks that way but… Trump’s not a politician. I don’t see him doing things like a politician and he’s not going to show his hand with regard to what he has planned and what he wants to do. But that’s just my opinion.

  • Fourth Turnings (every 4th generation) always, always end in war. This one began in 2008, the Global Financial Crisis and will end about 2029 give or take a year. Martin Armstrong’s ‘Socrates’ computer forecasts 2032 so it’s roughly in the same time period.

The last Fourth Turning began four generations ago with the stock market crash of 1929, the Great Depression and WW II.

We’re in the middle of this Fourth Turning. They don’t get better. They escalate and always, always end in war. Each war is more horrific than the previous.
    Previous Fourths and endings were:
    The Civil War 1860 – 1865
    American Revolution 1773 – 1794
    Britain’s ‘Glorious Revolution 1675-1704
    Armada Crisis 1659 – 1594
    War of the Roses 1459 – 1487

  • Since Vietnam, going to war meant the folks who could not afford college or an extended foreign vacation (Bill Clinton) had to go fight. Everyone of the middle class and lower should say….”ok, we’ll go when we see the son’s and daughter’s of the folks on the local draft board, the City and County councils, the State government’s and the Federal government (Congress and all the various alphabet agencies and bureau’s) all in uniform as grunts…no protected officer positions. Otherwise, forget it. No more political wars stated by the powers that be but fought by the little people.

  • The East verses the West, the lines are clearly drawn. 6,000 years of bloodshed, murder and war hosted by the ancient bloodlines. So … what else is new?

The geopolitics of earth are about as complicated as the politics of the Hatfields and the McCoys …

  • Who gives a rats rear end where you got you info. All what you wrote is the TRUTH. Tramp and Bolt Head want another war to make jew land happy and the bankers happy and to keep the middle east unstable. Problem: when it’s starts, Iran or North Korea and the US will start it, Russia and China will not be on our side

  • Mcmaster is a cfr member, and I suspect he’s a moslom like many other 0bama dingleberries remaining in dc. Apparently he was reporting directly to the 0bama regime everything that Trump was doing. He also supports the treasonous Iran deal and pretty much anything that harms America or places us in danger, so he should have been removed a long time ago.

On the other hand, Bolton is ALSO a cfr member, and past minion of the bush clan. He is anti islam, anti Iran, and is ok with a trade war with China far as I can tell.

And then there’s Pompeo, who is also anti islam and thus pro freedom.

Russia and China have been trying for decades to develop military edges over the US, and I doubt they will ever stop trying. The rape China has had for decades on the US citizen/economy has gone on too long, this should have never been allowed to take place at all, and now we have to clean up the mess. China has been raping us for decades and now they whine when someone finally says no more.
Oh but China;s not the only rapist of our economy, our close allies have raped us too, they should not be exempt from any tarif whatsoever. All should be dealt with fairly, all should have the same rule applied.

In all, where the people in Trump’s former cabinet only pretended to be Americans, Pompeo and Bolton just might actually be Americans, at least enough to defend us in war instead of betray us or surrender.

And on the topic of war, it has been coming a long time. Lots of countries are jealous of the US, some perhaps rightfully so, others not so much. They all think we owe them something and I used to wonder why but a friend from Chile taught me why the rest of the world wants to kill Americans.

    It goes along these lines;
Friend: Chile sells copper ore to the US for pennies per ton and then the US turns around and sells Chile insulated wire made with that same copper ore for pennies per foot!
Me: umm, did you miss the part about shipping the ore to the US, and the part about refining the ore, drawing it into wire, and insulating it?

    No matter, they don’t want to listen to reason or facts. They just want what we worked for and will try to take it because they think we stole it from them. As for Iran, every week in Tehran there’s a huge gathering where the mullas lead the people in a chant;
Death to America, Death to Israel! F them.

Same for North Korea, the NK regime has had their ass kissed for a long time by everyone and that has come to an end on fat boys watch as Trump is calling his bluff.

Another thing about war is China and other countries didn’t just sell us cheap steel they made in theior own factories, no. They came over here and bought up our closed down factories and shipped them off to China down to the last bolt. I shit you not. The reason this is important is we won ww2 by producing more than our enemies did, spending more money, and had more men. Germany had fantastic weapons and very effective tactics but they ran out of experienced pilots, fuel, and eventually everything. The next war we will not be able to produce much of anything after the nukes pop on our cities.

For example, Russia and China know where our Abrams tanks are made, nuke that and no more Abrams, you can’t make an Abrams in the aluminum pie plate factory on the edge of town. Same for the rest of our advanced weapons. On the steel front, China makes more steel in one month than the entire US makes in a single year, no lie.

My point it that war is likely coming, fast, brutal, evil war. But, would you rather fight it now when we have a chance or force your children to fight a war that might be unwinnable and make your grandchildren slaves to an occupying enemy??

    • Also, one thing I’d like for you to consider is whatever you appease you get more of.

For example, Britain and France appeased Hitler until he had all of Europe and almost had Britain. That appeasement sure worked out didn’t it? If you appease China you get more chicom military power flung into places far from China such as the Philippines, and elsewhere. The chicoms also made their own islands and stocked said islands with military gear such as air defense systems. If you appease Russia you get more nukes floating in subs off your coastline that are targeted on our cities. If you appease fat boy in NK you might get a Tokyo or LA in radioactive rubble, and/or an emp’d North America.

history shows what appeasement gets you.

    • That is quite a little Neo-Conservative rant you have there, boy. Did you read Daisy’s
article? She has 4 good points that are spot on. They are marching towards us and we brought
them on. Why? The comment about the Fourth Turning is perfect. USA inc is right in the middle
of one and it looks like, short of God’s Will, we will see our nation in great distress soon.

      • Lol yes I read the story, but I have a suspicion that the nwo, satan, and the federal reserve do not act according to any scheduled “turnings” or similar astrology. Cheers!

    • You have made so many false and irrational statements here I would have to respond to almost everything you have said. Who wants war with the US? Nobody. The only warmongering country or should I say the main one is the U.S. In the entire history of the nation there has only been a little over 20 years when you people have not been at war with somebody. And more often than not, a false flag was arranged as an excuse for war. And now they are doing it again. This time with countries who can actually defend themselves but are desperately trying to avoid what the U.S. is pushing for. You may get what you ask for in that last paragraph but there will be no guarantee you, your family, children or grandchildren will be around afterward.

      • On the no one wants war with America, I beg to differ. China and Russia have nukes pointed at us right now, and by us I mean the US. They are also pouring their fortunes into weapons systems designed specifically to counter US forces, typically carrier battle groups. As to me being a nasocon, I am against everything the nasocons stand for, ie, satanism/globalism.

Now on to the rest of the world.

Whenever some jihadster launches a missile at a tank, he chants death to America, death to Israel instead of death to Bashar Assad or death to King Faud or whoever is ruling Saudi Arabia. So there’s the lovely middle east covered. Most of south America thinks we owe them something and right now an “army” of 1500 foreign criminals are trespassing in Mexico on their way here to the land of the free, home of the brave, because apparently we owe them something…. and I can’t help but think that all these foreigners hate the US for the same false pretenses you blame us for and think the common citizen of the US owes them something.

Some rich men in America may owe some foreigners something for the crimes they have committed, but the typical American citizen owes them nothing, matter of fact, it’s likely the other way round.
Glad I could help get you sorted.

  • Another factor not mentioned is that Iran and Russia have a mutual defence agreement. If a country goes to war with one, That country will end up fighting both. Scary stuff.

  • Your points are what I keep repeating, but there are certainly enough, especially women, who are under the Trump trance. They still insist Trump has a secret, genius plan and he is going to trick the bad guys. Sanity demands I call BS on that view. I even had a woman speaking down to me today, that I need to READ MY BIBLE. We dare not question what God is doing through Mr. Trump, she thundered. Without proof of any kind Trump is now on the bandwagon of hysteria that Russia interfered with the U.S. elections. Then maybe he should step down. Today. Like right now! And this Skirpal poisoning is outrageous in its accusations. Trump has once again made a very damaging move based on zero proof at all. He is in total lockstep with the neocons.
Here is an interview of an authority who can tell us the facts of who has been behind these poisonings of former Russian spies. Who and why. http://thesaker.is/french-supercop-paul-barril-interviewed-about-anti-russian-false-flag-operations/
Given what we now face, it seems petty to mention a typo. I’m sorry but it may be important. Under #2 the date is March 26, not 27.
Another good article, to the point, calling it like it definitely appears to be.

  • This alert info-message creeped me out a bit … with so much going on – I can only guess that we are about to get slapped silly with something unpleasant. Only thing we can do is do our best to prep.

  • World War III started right after WW II, actually. Read history, we could have prevented it. And North Korea came about right after.

In all instances only one party was involved – THE DEMOCRAP party.

So, all you mentioned came is a GIFT from the communist Democrap party that did this on purpose to put America into a war footing, ironically.

Do not blame a Mr. Donald Trump.

  • You missed the most important war that has already started: The war by the Democrat-controlled Deep State against a duly-elected sitting president. They are sowing sedition and treason.
